The Graduate has Arrived

Tue Mar 10, 2009, 9:56 AM
*Bows* Yes, yes, I know, I know, I'm awesome.

I'm officially graduated from College. Yay! of course now I have to find a job...stupid economy. Oh, well It shouldn't be too hard right? So I'll do my best to work on some stuff for here during my free time, but I should be moving soon so there might be a bit of a large pause when I do...not that that would be any different from normal...I really need to write/draw more.

Anyway, I'm no longer a college student, so happy days are here again.

2009? Already?

Thu Jan 1, 2009, 9:32 AM
I guess I shouldn't be surprised that it's already 2009. But it still a little shocking. I'll be graduating this year, finding a job, moving, actually working, paying taxes, and all that fun stuff.

I haven't had a chance to do much in the way of drawing or writing. My big 'Senior Project' is starting to become more real in my mind, which means that anxiety will be kicking in real soon. Joy

My life will begin shortly

Sat Jul 5, 2008, 7:17 PM
OK, first off, I'm not dead...clinically.

I've been working on 3 different projects at once:
1. A database of crystals and the information there of.
2. Sketches/Art I have one that I've finished the sketch of and will upload the finished product soon. The other I'm stuck on but I think I have an idea for it so I should be uploading it later.
3. Stories yeah I write...more than just poetry I'm working on a story that weaseled it's way into my brain and will not stop until I finish writing it.

Life Update:

I only have two semesters left at college. Only TWO!!! I will soon be able to get a real job and become a member of the workforce :D... *whispers Someone help me, I don't want a real job.

Speaking of jobs I got an award for my work fixing a database/program for another department of my college. For those of you who are not programmers you may not understand, you may I don't know. Here was the problem:

The program was coded so that the end-user had to go back and modify the source code of the program to write to a new table in its database. And this worked for about 15, 16 Sessions. But then an error appeared...I wonder why.

Not only was there a problem with the source code but everyone else who had worked on it before me had decided to leave me notes. These notes Told Me Nothing!

So in the end I fixed their problem in 3 weeks, after my department had been trying for several semesters to fix the problem.

I hate my life sometimes.

And to top it all off, my parents found the certificate I got as a reward. I don't know if it's because I just don't give a damn or if in fact I'm actually humble but I don't care about certificates. I got citizen of the month, I don't know how (I think they got drunk and threw darts at a list of names), I made the shortest speech they ever had. I got my high school diploma I walked up took my diploma and went right back to my seat. I don't know why I just don't think awards are that big of a deal. But my parents do. So, they found it, I got a special dinner, calls from almost every family member I have, and today, It was framed. At least it's safely stowed in my closet so I shouldn't have to deal with it for a while.

I'm ranting, my apologies.

Right...well that's all for now, Later

I got tagged!

Mon May 5, 2008, 9:24 AM
It was terrible they shot me with a tranquilizer and attached this paper to my ear, it was very traumatic.

Just kidding :iconjellaboom: tagged me so it's my turn to be it.

* 1. Post these rules.
* 2. Each tagged person must post 8 things about their self on their journal.
* 3. At the end, you have to choose and tag 8 people and post their icons on the same journal.
* 4. Go to their pages and send a message saying you tagged them.
* 5. No tag-backs.

8 things about me:
1. I am a fully accredited member of the Wizards Guild (Yes it exists) shhhh, it's a secret.
2. I have over 57 wolf items and accessories courtesy of my overzealous parents.(I don't have any room for most of them)
3. I'm an Aquarius-Pisces. (It's true, if you're born within 1 hour of midnight on a crossover date you hold both zodiac signs. I was born 11:45 pm on Feb. 18) I'm a water carrying fish!! :D
4. I'm good at games that start off with nothing on the table, like poker.
5. I suck at games that start with all of the pieces down already, like checkers or chess.
6. I can play the ocarina...a little (It's an instrument, honest)
7. The "smudge" in my avatar is actually an Amethyst that I wear on my Third Eye Chakra.
8. I didn't want to go to my own high school graduation, the only reason I did was because my grandmother came all the way from Iowa to watch it.

Tag you're it:

Nightclub Fun

Mon Apr 28, 2008, 9:32 AM
I went to a night club last Friday with some friends from school. The name of the club is Outland, it's a goth club with flogging and electric play. I didn't partake but I did get to watch one of my friends and a few random people get flogged. I saw some people doing electric play as well. I'm not really into those things, at least not that I'm aware of, but others doing it don't effect me negatively so as long as they leave me out of it I don't care. There was one guy who was flogged, bitten, pinched, spanked, had hot wax poured on him, and had ice packs pressed against him, and the only thing he could say was crystal. Despite my self I found it amusing, I guess because I knew it was voluntary, I didn't feel a need to hide it. I just hope he didn't take it the wrong way, but I think he was preoccupied with other things.

It was a slow night at the club so I played some chess (yes, they had chess, I don't know why, but they had it so I played) I played three games. My first was against a stranger I didn't know,...He beat me in about four or five moves. I found out later that he plays chess... a lot. I played one of my friends who didn't play that much and she forfeited after I checked her. I played another one of my friends and we were even for a while, but in the end he beat me.

After a while more people showed up, I've heard of and seen pictures of goths and the clothes and makeup they wear. I'll tell you right now, it's something else to see them in person. Nothing against them, but it was my first time and when it's your first time seeing something like that you stare. There were a lot of hot people there, and some who looked like they needed to take their measurements for their clothes again.

It was an experience and while I'm not sure if I enjoyed myself, I got to spend time with my friends, and get my but kicked in chess. So it was worth it, but I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon.
